Access for All

People always strive to make life better for themselves and their families. Access to a driver's license supports building communities that are stronger economically and more inclusive socially and culturally. Access to driver’s licenses for immigrants is key to a healthy community. It allows economic mobility, encourages involvement in civic life, fosters a sense of belonging, and increases interconnectedness and commitment to our state.

Access and integration touch upon the institutions and mechanisms that promote development and growth within society, such as early childhood care; elementary, post-secondary, and adult education systems; workforce development; health care; provision of government services to communities with linguistic diversity; and more.
